Scans Come in as Negatives

If your scans come in a negative images (white text on a black background), there are two ways to deal with it:

First, you can do an Advanced Scan and select the "Invert Pages" option. Click the "Save" button towards the top to make this a default setting. All pages that come in will now be inverted to black on white.

Alternatively, you can do an Advanced Scan and select the "Show Scanner Dialog" option. This will bring up your scanner's native scan dialog.

Look for a button or option for inverting the image. For example, on the Xerox scanner's dialog, there's a button with the image of a person on it. If you hover your mouse over it, the hint will say "Invert Image" or something similar. Click this button. All scans will now be inverted to black on white. Other scanners may have similar options.
