Visioneer Strobe Image Problems
With Visioneer Strobe scanners, it's not uncommon for the first page to scan fine, but the remaining pages are either blank or covered with strange patterns. Here are some suggestions for correcting the problem:
Try different transfer modes. Go to the FileCenter "Tools" menu > "Settings" > "PDF/Scan" and try each of the "Scanning Transfer Modes" available there. In the past, some Visioneer Strobe scanners have worked best set to a "Memory" transfer mode. If the images then show up as white text on a black background, do an Advanced Scan, select "Invert Image" and then click the "Save" button at the top of the dialog to make the setting permanent.
You can also try a WIA driver if available. The Visioneer Strobe usually comes with both a TWAIN and a WIA driver. Click the "Source" button to see all available drivers. Try each Visioneer Strobe driver listed, including any WIA drivers. Ignore any warnings about WIA drivers. While we don't officially support WIA drivers, Visioneer's TWAIN drivers have been problematic and we've tried to support both their WIA and TWAIN drivers with the hope that at least one will integrate correctly.
